The Alliance Pipe Band was a collaborative effort starting in 2018 between the Dundee Scottish and Chicago Highlanders Pipe Bands for the purpose of competing in the Midwest Pipe Band Association. As of 2023, although the two bands have now regained enough members to compete separately, a bond was formed and the friendship between the bands continues.
