We wrapped up the competition season yesterday in Waukesha with a 3rd place finish and Grade 4 best midsection!
Three of our members also competed in solos, and Ian had a fantastic day, taking 1st place in both Novice Tenor and Practice Chanter! ๐ He also pulled double duty competing with the prize-winning Grade 3 band.
It was great seeing familiar faces from the other bands and getting one more competition day together before the season wraps up. We were also grateful for a break from the recent heat wave. Still sticky, but at least we werenโt melting.
And finally, the end-of-season bees made their appearance. One casualty. ๐
Overall not a bad way to finish the season! ๐ฅ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

Rehearsal Changes
At the start of this year, we moved our rehearsals to Tuesday evenings at the VFW-West Dundee. We truly appreciate the accommodations at the VFW and the larger practice room. Our rehearsals are still open to the public – come by and see us!
